Sex therapy
Sexual problems can have a big effect on even the strongest of relationships. It’s often hard to face up to difficulties and seek help. Our specially trained counsellors are experienced in helping people deal with a range of sexual problems including loss of desire, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and pain on intercourse. Sometimes we just lose our sex drive, or maybe there is a specific sexual problem that is causing concern such as addictions to sex and the internet.
Many people find it difficult or embarrassing to share their sexual concerns. Our therapists know this and will quickly put you at ease. Relate Sex Therapists are difficult to shock, and are trained in highly effective ways of tackling many issues in a safe and friendly environment. They will help you explore the reasons behind the problem and look at ways of addressing it.
Our psychosexual therapy service is highly successful, with 93% of both men and women who completed treatment reporting a significant improvement in their sexual relationship.

How much does it cost?
We are a registered charity and do not aim to make a profit on our services. However, we do need to cover our costs. Sessions are £47.00. We are able to offer some services at a reduced rate. Please call us for more information.
Where?
Our Relate Centre in Bedford and a variety of community venues across Bedfordshire and Luton.
What will happen?
The first session is a consultation to find out if Relate is the right service for you. If appropriate, you will be offered regular, ongoing counselling which usually takes place If you are attending as a couple, the first two sessions are done separately and you will then progress to joint counselling on a weekly basis.
