Moving Forward - A one day workshop
Practical help for divorced and separated people.
In this workshop we can help you come to terms with divorce or separation and start to rebuild your life and face the future with confidence.
Saturday 14th January 2012. £85 per place (includes lunch) at The Priory Centre, St Neots. 10am to 4.30pm (half hour lunch)
Understanding Anger
Understanding anger and its effects on yourself & others
Aims
- Participants will acquire a better understanding of the physical and emotional bases of angry behaviour
- Participants own behaviour patterns will be looked at to develop a greater understanding of those of people they encounter
- Methods of dealing more successfully with angry behaviour will be examined
Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will have had the opportunity to:
- Learn about and discuss some of the physiological and emotional effects of anger
- Hear about ways in which people deal with their own anger
- Examine their own anger and its effects
- Examine ways of dealing positively with other people's anger
- Practise using role-play and dealing with anger scenarios presented to them
There will be three workshops in the near future, one in Houghton Regis, in June 2011, one in Sandy in September 2011 and one in Bedford in January 2012. Attendees need to be referred by a Primary Care Trust professional.
